An aging British-Bengal mansion and understated traditional “mithai”, both denizens denounced to fade into oblivion, were given a fresh lease of life with the inception of this Sweet Store. The snug and trendy interiors, in collusion with the inviting glass displays shout-out to all food lovers to take a break from cakes and pastries and gorge on some mouth-watering delicacies.
The colour palette of the shop was inspired from the brilliant hues of the fond “Mishti”. Lighting has been used as a key design element to highlight and accentuate the “Desi Bengali Sweets”.
The vast frontage was entirely transparent to clearly showcase the store along with its alluring display A warm light in golden tinge illuminates the interiors so that the store stands out in its setting.
