An Orchard is an international planting of trees or shrubs that is maintained for food production. Orchard is a rich ECOSYSTEM, i.e. a complex set of relationships among the living resources, habitats and residents of an area it includes plants, trees, animals, microorganisms, water, soil and people.
Walking through the ORCHARD, even when the trees are bereft of foliage is an exhilarating experience, the interplay of voids, shadows and enclosures together interweave a magical and mystical ambience.
This pavilion is an architectural adaptation of “A Walk in the Orchard”.
